Frequently Asked Questions

Microblading: A semi-permanent tattooing technique that creates hair-like strokes to mimic natural brow hairs. Ideal for clients wanting a natural, defined look with gaps filled in. (Not suitable for oily, sensitive or porous skin)

Nano Brows: Similar to microblading but uses a fine needle to create more precise and delicate strokes. Suitable for those with oily or sensitive skin, as it tends to heal better and last longer than traditional microblading.

Powder Brows (Ombre Brows): A technique that gives brows a soft, powdered effect, similar to makeup. Perfect for clients who prefer a filled-in look or have sparse brows. (suitable for all skin types)

Combo Brows: A combination of microblading (hair strokes) and powder shading, resulting in a natural but full brow with added definition. (suitable for all skin types)

Lip Blush: A semi-permanent makeup technique that enhances the natural shape and color of the lips, giving a fuller, more even appearance. It is not lip filler

Consultations are essential because every client’s skin type, medical history, and lifestyle are unique. This step ensures we select the technique best suited to your skin type and lifestyle, for optimal healed results and long-lasting beauty.

Permanent makeup is generally not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding clients. However, temporary options like brow tinting or henna are safer alternatives, allowing you to enjoy enhanced brows for a period of time until its the correct time for permanent make up.

For the most natural results, Microblading or Nano Brows are often recommended.

Note: All techniques are customizable to create a natural look, depending on your preferences and natural state of your brows. If you have little to no brow hair – combo brows may be recommended and still give natural results.

Most clients report minimal to mild discomfort during the procedure, as a numbing cream is applied before and during the session. Each person’s pain tolerance varies, but many clients compare the sensation to a mild scratch or tingling. Hair plucking hurts more.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin) for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning.
Do not pluck or wax your brows within 48 hours.
Come with clean, makeup-free skin.

A detailed pre-care guide will be provided prior to your appointment to ensure the best results.

● Keep the area dry and avoid touching it for the first 24 hours.
● Avoid heavy sweating, saunas, swimming, and direct sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks.
● Use the recommended aftercare products to keep the area moisturized and promote healing.
● Expect mild scabbing, which is normal—do not pick at it, as this can affect the final results.

You’ll receive an aftercare guide with detailed instructions to follow post-treatment.

Everyone heals differently. The touch-up session is essential to correct any fading or patchiness that can happen as the brows or lips heal. During this time, we can make adjustments to the color and shape to ensure long-lasting, flawless results.

Typically, brows and lips recommend touch-ups every 1-2 years to maintain their shape and color. The frequency may vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, how well you follow aftercare instructions and how your skin retains the pigment

Brows: Approximately 2.5 -3 hours, depending on the specific technique and skin type.
Lip Blush: Generally takes around 2.5-3 hours.

Note: that’s including the paperwork, brow/lip designing, numbing time, etc.

No, at Jenni’s Beauty Enhancement we use QUALITY and modern pigments that are formulated to fade naturally without turning blue or red. The colors are designed to fade to a natural, lighter version of the original shade over time. With proper care and timely touch-ups, the results will remain beautiful and natural.

Depending on technique used, skin type and aftercare, brow procedures last 1-3 years, while lip blush can last between 2-3 years. Regular yearly touch-ups help maintain the look and color for both brows and lips.

Lip Neutralization is a specialized lip blush technique designed for clients with naturally dark or cool-toned lips. It involves using color-correcting pigments to neutralize the darker tones, creating a more even, desired lip color. This technique is especially popular for clients who want to enhance their natural lip shade or achieve a more balanced color.

Typically, 2-3 sessions are needed for optimal results, with a touch-up session recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. The number of sessions may vary depending on the original lip color and the desired outcome.

Your lips may appear slightly swollen immediately after the procedure, which can make them look fuller, similar to the effect of lip fillers. However, this swelling is temporary and typically subsides within 24 hours, leaving a more natural enhancement to your natural lip shape and color.

Yes, the color will appear darker immediately after the procedure, and the 2nd to 3rd day but this is temporary. As the area heals over the next few days, the color will soften and lighten to a more natural shade.

Lip blush offers a wide range of colors, primarily in shades of pinks, corals, and reds, to suit various skin tones and preferences. We can customize the shade to achieve anything from a soft, natural enhancement to a more vibrant look.

If you have a specific shade in mind, feel free to send a photo of your desired or natural lip color, and we’ll work to create a customized formula that matches it closely. Our goal is to ensure you leave with a color you’ll love and that complements your unique features.

If you have sensitive skin, Nano Brows/ Powder Brows or Combo Brows may be the most suitable. These techniques are gentle and precise, ideal for those with skin prone to irritation. They also cause less skin trauma.

The cost of permanent makeup reflects the level of skill, training, and precision required to achieve high-quality, safe, and long-lasting results. Here are a few reasons behind the cost:

1. Training and Certification: Certified permanent makeup artists undergo extensive training, often with multiple certifications, to master the art and techniques involved. This ensures clients receive safe and expert-level services.

2. Quality Pigments and Equipment: High-quality pigments and specialized equipment are essential to achieve natural, long-lasting results without adverse effects. Using professional-grade materials helps to ensure the color doesn’t fade poorly over time.

3. Customization for Each Client: Each procedure is tailored to the client’s skin type, facial features, and desired look, requiring in-depth knowledge of color theory, skin types, and facial anatomy.

4. Long-Term Results: Permanent makeup provides results that last 1-3 years, so the cost reflects the value and durability of the service. With the right technique and care, clients can avoid frequent touch-ups.

5. Safety and Hygiene Standards: Licensed artists adhere to strict sanitation protocols to protect clients. Maintaining a clean, professional environment adds to the cost but ensures the health and safety of every client. Investing in permanent makeup is about achieving a high standard of quality, safety, and durability, so clients enjoy beautiful, lasting results.
